Cowell Clarke is pleased to have advised Lutheran Homes Group on its acquisition of Mildura Gardens Retirement Village, supporting the organisation’s continued growth and investment in the aged care and retirement living sector.
The acquisition marks Lutheran Homes Group’s expansion into Mildura, Victoria, further strengthening its presence in regional communities and enhancing its ability to deliver high-quality care and lifestyle options to older Australians.
The retirement village comprises 87 independent living units, a community centre and land for future development, and will be rebranded as Lutheran Homes Group Mildura. The site presents a strong platform for future growth and the continued delivery of community-focused care.
Cowell Clarke Directors Megan Jongebloed and Sam Richardson led the transaction, supported by Helena Errey-White, Lauren Kaplan, Emily Gray and Claudia Van Eckeren, working closely with Equity & Advisory to achieve the outcome.
Since expanding into Victoria in June 2025, Lutheran Homes Group has grown its community to more than 2,000 residents, supported by a workforce and volunteer base of over 1,500 people across South Australia and Victoria. This latest acquisition reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the evolving needs of ageing communities, particularly in regional areas.
Megan Jongebloed, Chair and Aged-Care Sector Lead at Cowell Clarke, said:
“We are delighted to support Lutheran Homes Group on this important acquisition, which strengthens their ability to deliver high-quality care and retirement living options in regional Victoria.
