MEDIA RELEASE | Cowell Clarke recognises home grown talent, announcing new Director in Dispute Resolution & Construction teams

Cowell Clarke is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda Brady to Director, in the Dispute Resolution & Construction teams in November 2025. Amanda’s promotion recognises her significant contribution to the firm since joining as an Associate in 2014, and her growing reputation in the market for managing building and construction disputes and general commercial disputes including, property related issues, shareholder or office bearer disputes and general contractual disputes.

CEO, Rob Comazzetto said, “Amanda, is a rare talent, and her promotion to Director recognises her ongoing contribution to the firm and the industry. She is an excellent lawyer dedicated to exceptional client service, and in addition she plays an important role championing women in the construction industry through her role as President of the SA chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.

As a firm we don’t restrict ourselves with once yearly opportunities for promotion, we promote when there’s a natural progression and the time is right. Amanda’s promotion is a testament to this approach. Our focus has always been on providing the necessary support for Associate Directors on their path to becoming a director and helping them build a sustainable practice.”

Earlier this year, Cowell Clarke announced three senior lateral appointments in its Sydney office, which has grown to 65 employees in 3 years, taking the firm to nearly 200 employees. The firm continues to put people and innovation at the core of its plans for national expansion.
