Robin is a corporate/commercial lawyer with over 25 years’ experience of practice in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Robin advises clients on corporate transactions including business/asset and share sales, mergers and acquisitions, schemes of arrangement and takeovers, joint venture arrangements, business restructuring and corporate finance. Robin also advises on negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, corporate regulatory matters and resolution of commercial disputes.

He has a niche skill-set advising vendors and purchasers in the health sector, working closely with clients to structure and negotiate commercially astute transaction agreements.

Robin is known for his personal approach, and focuses on understanding his clients’ businesses and contributing to their ongoing success.

Robin is also a Notary Public in New South Wales.

• Acting for vendors and purchasers (including aggregators) of medical, dental, allied health and veterinary practices, working closely with brokers, financiers, accountants and other practice groups (in particular property, tax and employment).

• Acting on numerous non-health specific business sales, acquisitions and mergers, including various transactions in the aged care and related sectors.

• Advising professional services providers (particularly accounting, architectural and legal practices) with sales and acquisitions of practices.

• Advising clients in real estate sales and property management on mergers, acquisitions and restructuring.

• Assisting insolvency practitioners with deeds of company arrangement and subsequent asset and business sales out of administration and liquidation.

• Working with numerous “start up” ventures, in particular in the technology sector, advising on structuring, fundraising and regulatory matters.

• Acting in conjunction with accountants and other law firms to assist with the implementation of corporate transactions to perfect court orders, in particular Family Court orders.
