Connor is an Associate in Cowell Clarke’s Property team.
Connor assists clients with a range of property and commercial matters.
He has gained experience across commercial, agricultural and residential property transactions including advising clients on, and preparing documentation associated with the acquisitions and disposals of land, commercial leasing, contracts and property-related deeds.
Having assisted clients in the fuel distribution, hospitality, pharmaceutical, and service-based industries, Connor is familiar with the property aspects associated with the sale and purchase of business assets and broader commercial transactions.
As the grandson of a dairy farmer, Connor has a keen interest in the agribusiness industry and enjoys working with landowners on the legal issues associated with owing, managing and leasing their land.
Experience
Acted for a South Australian family-owned fuel distribution business in the sale of its business assets and leasehold interests in 8 of its petrol station sites across metropolitan and rural South Australia after over 50 years in operation.
Acted for several prominent South Australian wine and viticulture entities in relation to the sale and purchase of vineyard land in the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale.
Acted for vendors and purchasers of freehold and leasehold interests in hotels, motels and bars across metropolitan and country South Australia.
Assisted clients with the sale and purchase of agricultural land and assets including water licences and farming equipment.
Acted for Local Government Authorities (LGAs) in relation to revocation of community land designations, disposals of land and land divisions.
Acted for banking and financial institutions in relation to the preparation of, and advice in relation to registration of powers of attorney, leases and mortgages across Australia.
