On 4 July 2024, the Delivering Better Financial Outcomes Bill passed both Houses of Parliament. The DBFO reforms make a number of key changes to the financial services laws that apply to financial advisers, including those concerning Ongoing Fee Arrangements, Financial Services Guides, Conflicted Remuneration and Insurance Commissions.
