Earlier this year, the South Australia government announced that additional support would be provided to holders of liquor licences who received a JobKeeper payment for either themselves of one or more of their employees at any time between 4 January and 28 March 2021.
This was also addressed in the pre-election State Budget announced in June.
Eligible licencees can apply for a 50 percent fee waiver for their 2021-2022 licence fees. Licencees can apply for a fee waiver on the Liquor & Gaming online portal, or can otherwise contact Amanda Brady for assistance.
