Law Clerk - Tax and Revenue

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a 2nd or 3rd year law student to start immediately and be available to work two consecutive days per week. In addition to your outstanding academic results you will possess highly refined skills in analysis and research. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated and commercially astute team player who can learn quickly. Candidates who are able to demonstrate a keen interest in tax with a view to specialising in this area will be highly considered. In joining our team, you will become part of our Tax Academy© program.

Some key responsibilities will include:

• Legal research

• Review, analyse and summarise documentation

• Draft legal correspondence and advice

• Attend client meetings and video conferences

• Collaborate with team on technical issues

• Attend networking events.

What to expect

In joining our leading Tax & Revenue team you will be provided with one-on-one training and supervision by highly experienced tax practitioners. In addition to gaining broad tax and commercial experience you will also work with self-managed superannuation fund trustees and assist high net worth clients with sophisticated succession planning strategies.
